Khula or Judicial Divorce

A right given to the woman/wife in which she can initiate divorce by returning the dower (mahr) to the husband in compensation for divorce. Let our Firm handle the entire process of Khula proceedings.

Divorce

The dissolution of marriage is called divorce, which can be done by the husband or wife only if they have been given the right of Talaq in the Nikah Nama. The concept of the saying Talaq verbally done has valid roots; the marriage will not be dissolved under the Muslim Family Law Ordinance 1961.

Child Custody

After the divorce, child custody becomes a crucial issue if parents don’t mutually decide who will take care of the child. According to the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, either the father or the mother can get the custody, prioritizing the well-being and welfare of the child.

Adoption

Adoption is considered a noble cause in Islam and is guided by the Guardians and Wards Act, ensuring every adopted child is protected legally in Pakistan. This process requires an expert family lawyer who will handle everything legally.

We have been helping families in the adoption process, dealing with court petitions, guardianship orders, and documentation.

Maintenance of wife and child

Under the law of Pakistan and in Islam, it’s the duty of a man as a husband and father to provide for the maintenance of his wife and children. If he fails in his responsibilities, he will be charged under the Muslim Family Law Ordinance 1961.

The law ensures no one is left without support
